e thank you for taking the time to learn more about St. Anselm’s Abbey School, and we look forward to working with you as you navigate the process of finding the best community for your son's education in the coming years.

St. Anselm’s is a special place, one where bright and motivated boys are both nurtured and challenged as they grow to become exceptional men. Our beautiful 40-acre campus is an oasis in the nation’s capital, a contemplative setting where our 250 students can grow spiritually and intellectually. The Benedictine monks of St. Anselm’s Abbey, who have overseen the school since its founding in 1942, serve as beacons of faith and stability to our young men in an ever-changing world. Our rigorous academic program is first-rate, providing a classical liberal arts foundation that prepares students for the variety of challenges they will meet in college and beyond. Beyond the scholastic realm, though, our students are balanced and well-rounded, and they take advantage of a wide range of academic, athletic, artistic and leadership opportunities as they get to know themselves and the world around them.

Our office is honored to work closely with your family throughout the admission process.  We encourage you to look through the website to gather information about the Abbey, and we hope that you will join us on campus for an open house, tour, or shadow visit, to further your understanding of all we have to offer. Should you have questions about any aspect of the application process, please do not hesitate to contact us at 202-269-2379 or
admissions@saintanselms.org. We look forward to welcoming you to St. Anselm’s Abbey School and sharing our campus and community.
