The Alumni Association Study Grant program will provide financial assistance to students seeking to pursue in depth an academic interest through summer enrichment programs, independent research projects, and other academic work done outside the scope of their regular studies at St. Anselm’s. The grant may be used to cover program fees, travel, and other associated expenses.
The grant is available to St. Anselm’s students in good academic and disciplinary standing who will have completed Form IV and not yet matriculated at a college or university at the time of their project.
The Alumni Association’s first Study Grant was awarded in 2016 to Harrison Howe ’16, who received $500 towards his project at the Wenner-Gren Institute of the University of Stockholm, where he supported a doctoral student researching transposable gene sequences in mutant strains of yeast. The Alumni Association is pleased to be able to formalize and expand this grant program in 2017.
Interested students should submit an application to the Head of the Upper School no later than March 1, 2017. Click here for the Application Form. Questions should be addressed to Mr. Corrigan ’83 or Mr. Leathers ’04, who serve on the Alumni Association’s Board of Directors.
