Tuition & Financial Aid
In 2016-2017, St. Anselm’s Abbey School awarded about $1.2 million in need-based aid. Currently, approximately 36 percent of St. Anselm’s students receive tuition assistance. All applications are held in strict confidence to protect the privacy of our families.
Our deadline for financial aid submissions for the 2017-2018 school year is February 6, 2018.
We partner with School and Student Services (SSS) by NAIS in our financial aid process. Families requesting financial aid are asked to complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) online. St. Anselm’s code is 6316.
In addition to the PFS, we ask that families submit their most recent IRS 1040 forms, including all schedules, and 2016 W-2 forms and 1099 forms. These may be uploaded online with through the SSS website, or submitted directly to the St. Anselm's Abbey School Business Office.
In making financial aid determinations, we take into account the income and assets of all the adults who are responsible for a child’s education. If a child’s parents are separated or divorced, each responsible parent must submit the financial aid application materials.
The financial aid committee will evaluate the Parents' Financial Statements (PFS) along with the federal tax information. Any unusual expenses or debts must be explained, or they will not be taken into account. After careful evaluation of application materials and the school’s resources, the committee will authorize an award. Families are notified of financial aid decisions by early March.
