In 2020-2021, St. Anselm’s Abbey School awarded over $1.4 million in need-based aid. Currently, approximately 40 percent of St. Anselm’s students receive tuition assistance. Any family who thinks that St. Anselm’s education is beyond their means should apply for financial aid.
Applying for Financial Aid
Financial aid applications for the 2021-2022 school year are due February 1, 2021.
We partner with School and Student Services (SSS), a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. SSS applies a consistent and objective formula to estimate the amount of money a family should have available to contribute to their child’s education. St. Anselm’s uses this estimate, as well as the school’s budget and financial aid policies, as a starting point for financial aid awards.
Steps:
1. Log into SSS and complete the financial aid application: Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). St. Anselm’s code is 6316.
2. Upload the following documents to your SSS portal:
· Your most recent completed federal tax return (for most families this will be 2019 tax return)
· 2020 W-2 forms and 1099 forms
· 2020 Form 1098 (mortgage statement), if applicable
Important!
Apply on time! Financial aid funds are limited and there is never enough money in our financial aid budget to satisfy the financial need of all the applicants.
Applications submitted after the February 1 deadline will be accepted but may have to be placed on the financial aid waitlist.
Complete your application fully and accurately. Incomplete applications take more effort and time to process and will not be prioritized even if they are submitted on time.
